*Slide Show Softwares*

Slide show softwares are used to design photos and many more. The sites we found useful for creating a story and designing our photos were Rockyou.com, Photobucket.com, Slideshare.com, and Picturetrail.com. However, my group and i chose slideshare.com. It had many features and many choices for us to use. Our story was entitled "SAIPAN CINDERELLA". It was fun and uploading our pictures worked for us, but what didnt work was viewing our fun pix as a slide show as we were about to present! well that was frustrating because we wanted our story to seem sureal or atleast make it pretty using what was there for us to use! All in all, out of all the presentations, i found the photbucket and picture trail to be the most user friendly.

*Scavanger Hunt*

Scavanger hunting was fun, Our assignment was to pair up in twos and take digital picture shots on the following list: A white toyota echo, a caution "wet floor" sign, an instructor wearing glasses, real flame tree flower, a funny face picture, a motorcycle/bicycle, a copy machine, a boonie cat or dog, an umbrella, a disabled parking lot, an NMC logo, a student outside of a building(not smoking), a danger "High Voltage" sign, a water tank and a dumpster. We were given thirty minutes and whoever comes back first is the winner. It was fun! i felt like a little kid hunting for eggs. We all wanted to win and be the first but the hardest part was taking a picture of a boonie cat or dog. As we tried to take a shot, they ran away, so again that took extra time for us. This scavanger hunt made us laugh, made us sweat, but we learned something aswell. The main purpose for this assignment was for us to learn how to use a digital camera, how to delete unwanted photos, how to view our photos, how to upload and view as slide show!This was a good one!

*On-line Web Processors*

Getting into groups, and being given different online web-processor sites, such as Buzzword, Zoho, Inetword, thinkfree and google docs. We were to Demonstrate 3-5 processors, explain what may or may not be useful, what are the advantages and disadvantages and rate each online docs. After each group explored each given site, we had to do a mini presentation and out of the 5 online docs, i found Zoho to be the most user friendly.It was easy to sign up and to me it was just like an advance microsoft word, which almost everyone is familiar with. the thing i like about Zoho is that it has so many features for you to use, and the thing i liked the most is that you can email in or email out using the same exact site.Its fun and its useful. You can do so many things. On-line processors are for writing papers, useful for Projects,presentations, homework, work duties etc... CLICK zoho.com, sign up, and make use of it.

*Mnemograph*

Mnemograph is another website that you can sign up for free. Mnemographs are useful to do timelines of history of culture,computers, a timeline of your life, basically anything you would like, which includes a period during which something exists or continues. It was easy to sign up but when it came to creating a timeline on the history of computers, it got difficult, to the point i was getting frustrated. I sure was typing down the information and saving it but i had no idea where my information was going to. well i honestly dont like this website, i just find it not user friendly. Maybe its just me or maybe its just the website itself. I rate this site a 3.

* Gliffy Project*

This assignment was done through gliffy.com. It is free and easy to sign up with. We were to create a map of our house using this Gliffy's features. We had to or atleast be creative. It was difficult at first but i later got the hang of it. It takes patience especially for a begginner like me. Its useful for many things such as for business maps, party maps,residential areas etc... you can do so much with gliffy's features such as drawing your dream house..many more..try it out, real easy steps and your good to go.take advantage of this free sign up.

"My First Post"

Hafa Adai! Welcome to my blog and my first post. My name is Ruzzel Agulto currently enrolled in Mr. Jenkins ED-105 class. This course is to provide us with a hands on, skills based introduction to the use of personal computers and other applications. So far we've been introduced to Gliffy, Mindmeister, Blogger(Professional/Personal), and Mnemographs. We were to create accounts for each site, explore it and learn how to use it. Not being familiar with all these sites, i found it really difficult, especially those that were complicated such as mindmeister and the mnemographs. Those two were the most frustrating to me, but hey its a learning experience! Anyways, thank you for taking the time to read my first Post! Enjoy Your day...
